Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A/21A-session). Bottle L701 (BBF 19.11.19). AROMA: low orange-like aroma and faint citric hop notes. low malty-sweet background. APPEARANCE: light gold colour and slightly hazy. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: initial faint orange-like flavour, followed by medium-low cereal husk notes. very faint pine-like hop notes. low neutral malt background and low bread-like yeast. medium to medium-high bitterness. finishes dry and bitter. OVERALL: a fruit session IPA with muted notes and expressive polyphenolic presence.
