Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A, session). Bottle 33 cl - Batch #216 (BBF 04/2019). AROMA: medium-low slightly sweet malt presence (almost neutral), low fruity esters. slight oxidized hops. low background of yeast (uncooked bread). APPERANCE: gold color and clear. medium to medium-high white head, moussy, with good retention. TASTE: low malt flavor (lightly sweet and neutral), followed by faint oxidized hops (cheese), yeast (uncooked bread) and cereal husk. medium-high to high bitterness with a dry and excessive bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a session IPA already without hops and with excessive bitterness for a session beer.
