AROMA: medium-high coffee-and-cream aroma with notes of coffee, slight chocolate and a slight nutty and smoky wood presence. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color with ruby body against light. medium tanned head, moussy, with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with notes of smoked wood, coffee, nutty and dark chocolate. medium to medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry and roasted finish. PALATE: medium to medium-high body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice extra stout with an added smoky wood-like note.
