Fritzy (Franconian-Style Red Lager), 5.1% abv. This Franconian style red lager (“Rotbier”) is inspired by the similar beers of Nuremberg, Germany. Malty and biscuity with notes of caramel, this unique unfiltered and naturally carbonated Rotbier finishes dry with a noticeable but pleasant hoppiness.

Canned 06/09/25, drunk 07/9/25.
Clear copper-amber-cherry. Small, buttery head.
Fruity, earthy, mineral-rich nose with cellar must, heirloom yeast and light toast. Snappy, malty, and just the right amount of toast and fruitiness.
Toasty, fruity, round but with some biscuit and cracker. Not too toasty, never astringent or thin. Great malt depth. Man, don't know how these guys consistently do it....

Pours deep, clear mahogany into a willi. White head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Caramel and golden syrup aromas. Crisp with sweet caramel, molasses and earthy toasted multigrain front to back. Lasting, earthy spice finish.

Can at home while working late night sadly. Fine chestnut amber pour and foamy beige topper. Nose is malt and biscuits. Tatses of earth, rootbeer, red fruits, bread crusts. Medium bodied. Very tasty
