In collaborarion with Howl Bier in Winooski, VT.
Crafted with a single decoction mash and lightly hopped with Saphir and Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Birkenholz is
unfiltered, naturally carbonated, and untouched by mechanical force since it left the brewhouse.
Named after the birch tree that graces Howl Bier’s pub, this beer is an ode to long summer days in the Bavarian countryside, crisp liter of pale lager in hand.

Brewery draught, 6/20/25.
Clear, bright brass-peach-maize. Small, white head.
Earthy, yeasty nose with mineral, grain and a dusting of noble hops. Bright and crisp.
Snappy and amply malty with a light fruitiness from somewhere and deep malts with good attenuation. Love the mineral and yeast character. Water quality shining here.
