KOMES RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT is a strong, aromatic and complexdark, top fermenting beer matured for 6 months. It is a speciality appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. The distinct roasted note, typical of the style, comes from roasted barley. The notes of coffee, chocolate and prunes are counter-balanced with a distinct bitterness. A small amount of rye malt boosts the beer's richness and velvety texture. The RIS has an intense flavour and aroma attributed to aromatic Ukrainian varieties of hops (Klon and Slovianka). Despite the beverage's considerable strength, the alcohol is not aggressive but rather - pleasantly warming.
