Hoog in het noorden bij Northern Mead wordt er ambachtelijke mede gemaakt op de traditionele manier.
Mede is een drank waarvan de vergistbare suikers uit honing komen in plaats van granen (bier) of druiven (wijn). Bij ons wordt de mede met zorg gemaakt met 100% pure honing. Hierdoor is de mede van Northern Mead van de hoogste kwaliteit; dat proeft u in onze producten.
Danique Staal started with making traditional mead styles, but soon decided to make multiple styles of mead. In order to keep track of what is in which bottle and to keep the styles separate, they decided to carry different brands. This makes it immediately clear which style each brand is. The Noordelijke Mederij is the meadery where all mead styles are made and under which all brands now fall.
