We are Ghislaine and Alain, founders of the Palmyre brewery and beer. Wanting to create a project that reflected our identity, one that resonated with our native Charente-Maritime region, the idea took root on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.
After a brief training course in Nancy, we developed our recipes and began marketing our beer in 2017, while also producing small experimental batches. During the winter of 2018, our brewery was built and the equipment installed. With our university degrees from the Faculty of Sciences in La Rochelle in hand, we embarked on this adventure.
