Cloudy orange red, 1 finger off-white head. Nose is malty brown sugar, cloves. Very sweet. Like eating straight toffee. Very rough tobacco after taste. Very astringent and boozy.

Thanks Secret Santa! Pours and oaky dark brown. Black in the glass. 1 finger coffee coloured head. Nose is very roast! Lots of cocoa, chocolate, coffee. Smells more like a porter than an IPA. Taste is interesting. Loads of chocolate and fresh espresso beans. Hint of hop bitterness at the finish, certainly has that German hop taste. The roastiness is sticking around forever.

From a bottle, very interesting in appearance. All kinds of things floating around in there. Does not smell like peaches, just plain beer. Flavor does have a backbone of peach in there. A little bitter, perhaps from some peach peels in there, not sure. Yes, the peach is not artifical like like some of the other peach brews I’ve had. Could be more behaved during the session. A little plastic in flavor. Interesting brew overall but will not purchase again. Not impressed.
