Light copper color. Nice frothy white head. Very clean malty nose with notes of mineral and bread. Very nice clean malty mouth with bread and caramel. Light body, light to moderate amounts if bitterness. Very well executed. Nice bready hoppy finish. Beautifully crafted.

Beautiful copper color with small creamy head. Delicate smoke aroma. Dry mouthfeel, good and delicate malt, caramel and smoke flavor, with very light biscuit. Medium to low bitterness.
Elegant and delicate smoked beer, well brewed as usual.

2013-01-14, draught at the brewpub, 7% ABV, 6-5-7-3-14=35
Beautiful amber color, with medium sized creamy head. Mild aroma of malt, with a sweetish impression. Good malt flavor, with very moderate sweetness, round mouthfeel, correct bitterness.
Very clean, true Bock.

2013.01-04, draught at the brewpub, 7% ABV, 6-5-7-3-13=34
Amber color, with small creamy head. Mild malt aroma, some straws. Good body strength; some malt flavor, light caramel, moderate sweetness, and low bitterness; there is a light trace of Lager yeast fruitiness.
Nice, but not exciting; Chuckanut does better.

Draught at the brewpub
Amber color, hazy. Nice malt aroma, with some cereals. Smooth and lean mouthfeel; some malt, honey and cereals. Correct bitterness. Overall, it’s easy but elegant.
Not really a Vienna, but still a good showcase for German malts.

As part of a sampler tray during my visit to Bellingham Medium golden with a huge lasting white head..the enitre glass is coatd with the lacing as it recedes. Pretty mild aroma for an IPA, plenty of hoop flavor though and q flavoruite bitter. Sweet and light malty. A pwerfull kick but not quite the classic west coast IPA I typically expect. Claims to be more of the British variety but kind of lands in between I think.

As part of a sampler tray during my visit to Bellingham Finally an Ale at this place... Deep clear chocolate brown color witha good sized dense off white head. Nice light roasted slightly smokey aroma. The smoke in the flavor is just right. Not so strong like sucking on beef jerky as other attempts. Very nicely balanced. and approachable for the style. Americanized maybe?

As part of a sampler tray during my visit to Bellingham. Golden clear witha huge fluffy sandy colored head. Light bready aroma and a slightly sweet grain flavor. the hops come through a bit more than I expected and the full maltiness is not quite what I was expecting. Nice and tasty, attenuated nicely and lingering slightly woody tang at the end. Maybe a bit hoppy and bitter for the style.

As part of a sampler tray during my visit to Bellingham Not a favorite style of mine, but clear light straw colored with a modest bright white head. Tell-tale saaz hops aroma and the crisp bite of the pilsner style is nailed. Good representative of the beer genesis.

As part of a sampler tray during my visit to Bellingham Extremely light golden crystal clear with a nice full bright white head. Sheets of sticky persistent lacing. Faint light grain aroma and classic laid back lager palate. Refreshing and clean.

As part of a sampler tray during my visit to Bellingham. Attractive orange copper color with a fine and fleeting white head. Bright and crisp, not shy and subtle like other of the style. A bite at the end but not because of hops. A touch cidery. Interesting sand unexpected
