Tap at Osh Kosh. This was their "hop" offering. Sierra Nevada’s driveway has more hop character than this beer. Medium bodied, insipid APA. Super-filtered orange-copper body, steady white head. Some faint orange citrus. Clean and easy, very sessionable. OK,fruity English yeast feel. Imperfect.

Tap at Osh Kosh. Filtered amber-brown. Thin oily head. Not that impressive of an offering, sort of a dirty, off-version of a weak Scottish Ale. Watery tobacco toffee, caramel. Some peat, maybe just soapy. OK at best...no hop tones.

Tap. Pours a clear amber color with an average head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is pine, grass, citrus, sweet malt. Taste is off; a bit soapy. Bitter, but lacking any hop profile. No real malt balance. Its rather bland overall.

12oz bottle. Deep amber-brown color, approaching black. Frothy beige head. Sweet, chocolate coffee aroma, pretty pleasant. Actually one of the better Fox River beers I’ve had. Smooth chocolate cocoa tones. I’m sort of flabbergasted that I am enjoying a Fox River product. Good creamy chocolate Stout.

12oz bottle. The aroma isn’t so bad, chocolate and specialty malt is an ally of the shabby brewer. Opaque brown black, bit sugary sweet chocolate tinged aroma. Is actually a drinkable product, not up to par, but drinkable and acceptable. Chocolate, caramel, toasty vanilla graham cracker. The flavors aren’t bad, but the body is lifeless, lacks depth or brewing finesse. Brown sugar malta.

12oz bottle from the brewery. Ruby amber-brown color, steady thin beige head. Sweet, not so enjoyable aroma..cheap, extract. Medium bodied, sweet and sugary. Drinkable, but just barely so. Not really worth punishing yourself with. Slackin.

12oz bottle picked up from the brewpub in Oshkosh. Ruby red-brown, looks filtered. Steady thin off-white head. Soapy sweet aroma, Rich nutty brown malt body. Grassy hops give it a nice sharp balancing bitterness. Not bad, but there is a syrupy amberish malt backbone that sort of screams cheap malts or extract that keep it locked in sub par Fox River territory. Slightly sour. Unimpressive homebrew.

12oz bottle picked up from the brewpub. Hazy orange-grey body. Steady, creamy white head. This is pretty decent, assumably because they can cover everything up with blueberry, which they do. Medium bodied, with some tartness. Surprisingly OK.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured near black with a creamy brown head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had a nice combination of roasted malts and pine hops with a bit of backing coffee. Flavor starts with a bit of chocolate and roasted malts with a nice pine note that comes out in the finish.

On tap at the Oshkosh location. Pours a clear deep red with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of light fruit, bread and s bit of backing light caramel. Flavor begins with a bread note that is backed by some light fruit and a bit of growing sweet grains.
