Can courtesy of Kenny & Savannah, thanks! Cloudy red color, fluffy pink head. Raspberry > lemon aroma. Taste is fruity lemon and dusty berry with only very light tartness. Straightforward and easy drinking hot weather beer

Seems closer to a session IPA than a pale ale, with the lactose attempting to make up for a general lack of a malt base. Oodles of juicy hops make for a hardcore fruit front, with lemon, mango, stonefruit, and orange creating a tropical citrus rush, but there's no ass to the beer, nothing to accent the copious hopping. The lactose adds a vanilla-tinged sweetness to the finish, but the two sides don't exactly mesh; you get a shitload of hops, then a lot of sweet nothingness. Bready seltzer fade doesn't help. Pours a beautiful hazed yellow gold with a never-ending white cap and tons of lacing. Nose is a tropical bomb, mango on top of pineapple on top of grapefruit. Boisterous texture is nice, but overall kind of a mess.

Clear orange beer, big fluffy creamy off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, peach, some tropical passion fruit, lovely smell, some pineapple. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, bit sweet, some caramel, little bitter, bit resinous, dank, tropical fruits, bit grassy, grapefruit. Aftertaste: some caramel sweetness, bitter hoppy finish. Nice stuff!

Fairly straightforward IPA, heavy on the citrus and pine, formidable in its hoppy vitriol on the back end yet fairly banal in the malting, almost pilsner-ish in its pale malt blandness. Lemon, grapefruit, herbal dank, and floral notes flourish, but there's little sweetness to add any needed complexity. Pretty pour, coming out a hazy yellow-gold wih a thick white head and moderate lacing. Good grapefruit-dank nose, and the texture's right for an IPA. Eh.

Draft at Margarita’s in Macon. Dark clear orange. Taste is sweet citrus with medium bitter hops, and brief finish. Refreshing IPA.

Solid pilsner aroma, pale malt and noble hop funk with a slight grainy sweetness. Pours pretty as well, gold with a healthy white cap and modest lacing. Taste seems a bit off, a mild corn sweetness leading into hints of apple and grass, yet the finish comes on too assertive, overly floral and bitter with IBUs clinging to the fade. Creamy texture is good for the style, but overall a slightly above average pils.

Tasty Scotch ale, sweet but not too sweet, peaty but not too peaty, smokey but...you get the point. Caramel and biscuity malts form a solid base, while slight fig and bourbon notes underline an appreciably firm hop bitterness on the finish, the slightest wisp of smoke adding depth to the fade. Not all that pretty, and the aroma comes across subdued, but otherwise a solid beer. Better than my score suggests.
