We brew beer for the weeknights. Balanced, but still flavorful, that pair well with a meal. But not a Friday night.

4 oz. sample at Ale Yeah! Pours gold, with a medium, creamy head. The aroma is bready malts, vegetable notes, grass and significant pine and resinous hops. Sweet up front, with good bitterness and light chili heat. Sour and unpleasant aftertaste. Medium body, astringent, and a little warm. This is a bit of a lackluster chili beer. The mixture is relatively balanced, but not very flavorful.

Bottle. Clear deep amber color, fluffy cream colored head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit. Taste is sweet and malty at first, then pine redin, but not overly bitter.

Cloudy medium yellow with a white head. Lemon aroma. Lightly sweet dry finish. Some lemon, but it’s very light. no real faults here, but lacks a lot of the character I look for in a Witbier.

Bottle. Pours clear ruby, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is caramel, hay, toffee, a bit of bathroom. Flavor is the same (minus the bathroom, thank God), medium sweet and very malty, light grassy bitter. Medium plus body, creamy mouthfeel. Not bad for the style.

22 oz. bottle. Dark copper pour, with a big, beige head. Very malty nose of caramel and syrup, with a little wet grass and honeysuckle. Very bitter flavor, with a little malt backbone. Medium to heavy body, a little chalky, and sticky. Overall, this is a mediocre IIPA. The hop profile seems a little flat, the malts are a little too dominant.

Very deep ruby tinged dark brown with a tan head. Sweet malty brown sugar aroma. The flavor is rich, not overly sweet, nutty. I’m not picking up the smoke of which they speak. But this isn’t bad; especially for the malty lovers.

Slightly hazy gold pour with a tall, off-white head. Juicy malt and citrus hop aroma The flavor is well balanced between the malt sweetness and the hop bitterness. A tad thin for my palate but no flaws and seems to be quite sessionable. .
