Growler pour thanks to Sam for this one. Pours out a golden topped with a small white head. Aroma was of sweet pit fruit, wood, tart fruit, and some barnyard. Taste was much as the aroma with lots of nice fruit notes, good sour balance, and ends very nice. My first sour from Walking Man very well done guys.

I’m savoring this brew as rating number 4,000.

I have wanted to try this for years and years now and this has been made possible by the uber generous Boise crew. Big thanks BuckeyeBoy (thanks Jeremy!) and of course my Dr. ditmier, as well as inflatablehair and JohnGalt1. The Boise crew is amazing.

It pours deep mahogany with fudge like hues, deep ruby edges and a nice mocha head. The aroma is bold with burnt toffee, thick, deep and rich dark fruity esters, fudge brownie and black strap molasses. I love the toffee - molasses biased in the nose. The taste is similar with burnt toffee, nice and rich dark fruity esters like prunes and berries to go along with a bit of a honey sensation. Into midway and rolling into the finish it picks up yummy chocolate and fudge. Awesome brew.

A dark amber IPA with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, light sweet malts, with light berry notes and faint c-hops. In mouth, a smooth mundane IPA with light citrus hops, light alcohol, OK. On tap at Horse Brass Pub, Sept. 4 2010.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of cherries and roasted malt. Flavour of potent cherries upfront, with the latter half revealing flavours of roasted malt, a considerable smokiness and wood. Interesting creation here.

10th October 2008. GABF. 2007 vinatge. Dry palate - not in a good way as it’s a saccharine sort of dryness. Sweet malt up to the mid when bitterish hop finish. Would have been better without that icky dryness.
