Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy, slight grassy. Smooth honey fruity. Lingering smooth fruity finish.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Murky dark brown color with a thin creamy light beige head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lace. Roast malt and rum in the nose. Medium body with an flavors of oaky rum, butterscotch and malt. The finish is sweet with a rum and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

At CBC reception, April 8 2014.Cloudy lemon yellow color, white head. Spicy, alcohol scent, phenolic. Phenolic, spicy taste. Phenolic aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

(Pale ale) Pagosa Raftin’ Rye, 7.6%, clear caramel amber one ring white head. very sweet nose, orange, caramel, piney, malt, brown sugar, grapefruit. Flavor is orange, pine, grass, malt, mild spice, mild bread Bready, peppery finish. Ok. 6-3-7-3-11
