Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Golden, small and stable firm white head; solid aromas of bittering and aromatic hops; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft MF; slightly increasing bitterness in the hoppy-malty finish. Good Pils..........

On draught (@Altstadstüberl, Eichstätt) as Tradition Festbier:Golden, lively carbonation, qiute stable head with a little lace; sweetish-grainy nose, accompanied by a very faint tinge of bisquits; light sweetish flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of such strength - almost empty MF; becomes a bit sourish in the fruity-grainy finish. A very simple, monotonous Märzen............

Bottle (@Altstadtstüberl, Eichstätt)Clear, reddish-amber coloured, small, but very persistent brownish head; solid aroma of a slightly diluted Doppelbock: sweet dark malt with traces of dried fruits and a light chocolatey touch;moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; drier, slightly lingering, chocolatey bitter-sweet finish. Unexpected fine brew from a very mediocre brewery...........

Bottle: Pale golden, small white head with a little lace; light to moderate grainy-fruity nose with a cardboardy touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; a fruity touch is detectable in the light grainy-bitter finish. Nothing to complain, but all in all a bit bland............

(33cl bottle) Clear, reddish amber colour with a fluffy, off-white foamy head. Sweet and alcoholiv, moderately toasty aroma with subtle fruity notes. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty taste with light notes of caramel and fruity accents; sweet and obviously alcoholic finish. Mediocre brew, lacks balance (30.04.07).
