[i] Bottle from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford 24-01-08 [/i] Pours golden in colour with haze and large white head. Yeast and banana dominate the nose but there is also some spice, cloves? Whilst quite refreshing this is a bit sweet, some wheatiness in the mouth, quite soft feel but bitterness ok.

0,5 l vom Fass at Antonius-Schwaige, Ingolstadt 23 Jun 07. Amber/brown colored. A small tanned head. Moderate malty and roasted aroma. Watery caramellish flavor. Sweet bitter aftertaste.

Bottle 0,5l at Angi’s Ingolstadt 23 Jun 07. Clear golden colored. A good-looking "tulip" that soon settled. Bubbles in the glass. Citric aroma. Very carbonated. A bit unvaried and dull, but defenitely a wheat-beer feeling.

[i] Bottle from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford. Had this 05-01-08 [/i] white bubbly very large head wheat and banana on the nose and also found themselves to be quite high up on the flavour front. Not sure why this is called winter-weisse as there was nothing about it that would differentiate itself from any other wheat, still I rather liked it and it went down very well.

(Draught at a place called "Krallinger Brauerei" in Munich) Sold to me as "Herrnbrau Export Hell". Clear golden color, white head. Sweet malty and hoppy scent. Malty and hoppy taste. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness. Sweet and fruity aftertaste.

500ml von Fass, biergarten at Antonius-Schwaige. Clear and deep palisander colour. Almost no head. Smell of black malts and dark chocolate. More chocolate in the flavour followed by nuts and sweet caramel. Soft, semi-dry ending. Partly foamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied (Ingolstadt, 23.07.2007).

500ml vom Fass relaxing in the biergarten of Antonius-Schwaige just outside Ingolstadt. Thanks to Manuela for showing the way. Light wheaty aroma with a malty touch. Moderate haze to a dark brown coloured body. Thin white foam. Yeasty taste with support of wheat, herbs and cloves. Again more yeast plus a sweet hoppy hint in a prolonged ending. Medium bodied. Quite nice weissenbock (shared with Finn, 23.06.2007).
