Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, tart sharp hops, grass - silage notes. Bottle, 3.9%. Slightly hazy deep golden with tiny to no head. Aroma is malt, little caramel and a little oxidized? Flavour is malt, medium sweet, flat, hops, little bitter and a little watery.

Very dark brown beer, opaque. No head, no carbonation. Tangy rich unsweet chocolate. A little orange near the neutral finish. Not much else going on. Flat as a pancake but just about okay.

Clear dark amber beer, no head. Toffee, licorice and marmalade nose. Palate i slow carbonation. Mild toffee blends in to strong licorice. Tiny bit of hop in the even finish. Different!

Bottle at Pat’s Birthday Party, ChrisO’s, London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a small, white head. Straw, dry wood or something in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with wood and straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish with some crispy dough, pale malts, light hay bitterness. Not bad.
