330ml bottle into schooner glass. Golden amber beer with two finger frothy white head. Slight haze, slight high carbonation. Some lacing. Beautiful tropical fruit nose (mango?) with doughy malt background. Clean, refreshing taste followed initially by malt then herbal earthy bitterness, even hints of peppermint late on. Really really good lager, easy-drinking too!

640ml bottle sampled during Aussie trip 2017-18. Pours orange amber with a minimal white head. Aromas of sweet malts, apricots, orange marmalade, piney hops. Taste is moderate to heavy sweet malts, peach, orange marmalade, pine resin. Also toffee & caramel which was t expected. Medium to thick body, light carb with a gloopy, chewy mouthfeel. Lingering bitter-ish finish. A big beer that’s not subtle in any way!

Bottle. Amber with a large white head that lasts well. Aroma of kumquat, pine, toast and biscuit. Fair bit of body, moderate carbonation. Sweet biscuit with pine and herbs. Fruit a no show. In date but too old? Just OK. Who toasts a victory with an IPL - Pyrrhus?

From a 330ml bottle on 2/12/2017. Pours a dark reddy amber with a samll head The nose is malty and fruity. Flavour wise you get caramel and toasted, hints of dark fruit and berry sweetness, finished off by some firm hops. Seems much hoppier than 35 IBU. Medium bodied with fairly lively carbonation. Could use a bit more sweetness to balance things out, but not bad.
