Was expecting some lemon freshness to go with this otherwise bland wheat ale. Lemons are a no show, leaving you with a rather pedestrian wheat ale, dry and slightly chalky. Nothing to see here folks, move along...

Wow, a near perfect saison with a hint of ginger spiciness. Ginger accents complement the yeasty, floral aroma. Hazy light golden body, small soapy head. Taste is more like the aroma, with the ginger blending perfectly with the saison flavors. Would go great with soup and salad.

On Tap at the brewery. Dark brown and just a skinny thin head. Lots of hopy fresh bitterness and roast aroma and flavors. More like a black IPA than a stout. Tasty tough.

Nice and bitter stout, just the right amount. pours with initial tall beige creamy head. Streaky lacing, aroma is pure roast grains, burnt toast. Taste is the same with some added semisweet chocolate. Creamy, slick mouthfeel.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a sand head. Nose is roast malts chocolate coffee and some raspberry notes. Taste is as the nose with a nice mild coffee and a good roast malt. A nice session porter for sure.
