On Tap at the downtown brewery/taproom Foggy deep orange amber pour. Just a few bubbles, no real head or lacing, Plenty of woody barrel charcter. Some mild natual sour notes. Not quite a sour brown but close. Hints of the Duchesse

On Tap at the downtown brewery/taproom Slight foggy light brown amber pour. Thin fine tan head. Soft lightly sweet toasted malts. Simply light malty brew.

Short pour at brewery. Dark brown, almost clear, spotty head. Boozy aroma, brown sugar. Taste is boozy, sharp, malty, strong. Lingering heat Really amps up the warmth of the base beer.

Draft at Boise Brewing. Clear dark amber pour, thin, silky, off-white head. Roasty aroma with coffee notes. Taste is roasty, bitter and coffee, but pretty well balanced.

Taster at Belmont Brew House. Clear brown pour, relatively flat. Strong cherry aroma, barrel notes. Taste recalls a Flemish Red / Oud Bruin, mild tartness, cherries, wood.

On tap at the downtown Boise brewery/taproom. Clear orange amber. Full tight light tan head.. malt light toasted sweetness and a smooth subtle piney resinous hop character. Clean and smooth.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Golden pour, white foamy head shrinks to to thin cap. Hoppy, earthy aroma. Taste is hoppy and dry, grainy, minor floral notes.

Half draft at Boise Brewing. Clear golden pour with a head of white foam. Aroma starts with grapefruit zest, followed by some sweet malts. Taste mirrors the aroma, grapefruit up front, toffee malts sweetness behind. .
