At SAVOR 2016. Poured a dark cola color, hazy notes. Fizzy tan head. Aroma as lots of dark chocolate, fruits, earthy notes. Vanilla, bourbon notes. Rich, creamy, boozy, dark fruits. Tasty.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized creamy white head that faded quickly and left good lacing. The aroma was faintly tangy and sweet with a touch of sour mash. The flavor was tangy and sweet with hints of fruit and hot pepper. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh

Sampled on draft at the Pittsburgh location this beer poured a black color with a large creamy beige head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was toasty malts, vanilla, malted milk, coffee and cocoa. The flavor was vanilla, coffee, cocoa, toasty malts, malted milk and a mild bitterness. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and creamy. Quite nice.

Poured up on tap at the Chandler AZ BJ’s where it exhibits a clear pure gold body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up grapefruit, tangelo and then a sliver of mango. The taste delivers some bitter citrus hops that are grapefruit and tangerine like. It then picks up a modest juicy mango sensation before the bitter citrus hops take over again midway and into the finish. Nice IPA. Thanks Stone.

4-5 oz pour on draft at BJ’s (Gainesville, VA location) with a Mustang Sally yelling DCLawyer. A pumpkin ale on tap in April, who would have thought? Clear dark amber with beige head. Aromas of pumpkin spices, herbs, cinnamon. Tastes of pumpkin spices, herbs, cinnamon, malt, caramel. Medium-light body with a dry finish.
