Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grass, floral and something that reminds of sour malt. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with bitter and slightly biscuit and bready finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Lys brun tåkete med tynt hvitt skum. Fikk med en del segmenter. beskjeden lukt. Lett sitron og noe sydhavsfrukt og malt. syrlig og søtlig smak. litt oljete, oljete, medium kullsyre. Kort ettersmak, sitter igjen med søt smak i munnen.

Lys brun farge. uklar med luftig hvitt skum som ligger og henger i glassveggen. Har også noe bunnslam. lukter litt skuffende. Litt som en lager. Malt og noe sitrus. Medium til lett fylde. oljete i munnfølelse og en anelse syrlig ettersmak.

0.5l bottle. It starts off light blurry and deep golden yellow this, but based on the thick chunky yeast residues in the bottom of the bottle this will get quite cloudy after a while. It also has a small fading little white top. On the nose it's yeast that dominates. Some sweet from wheat and a little bit of earthy potatoes and cooked vegetables. Not a very nice aroma at all. Tastes a little better. It's super sweet for a wheat this. Feels light oily in the mouth and it's softly carbonated. Really wheat sweet taste with lots of floral touches. Light grass and grainy also. Not a masterpiece at all, but it got better and better down the bottle. 31.12.2013

0.5l bottle. Looks nice with a medium sized light bubbly dark chocolate colored head on top of a deep and dark brown body. On the nose it has lots of nice sweet chocolate and roasted malts. Quite round and oatmealy on the nose. I like. It tastes quite nice also. On the mouthfeel this is quite light and almost a bit watery while the carbonation is below average. Roasted or even light burned malty flavors here. The usual slightly acidic coffee is definitely present here, as is hints of cardboard and it's really nicely bittered this. It ends really watery, but it has a nice lingering roasted tail. One of the better I've had from this brewer. 02.01.2014

0.5l bottle. Looks good with a warm amber orange colored body, a good amount of floaters and big chunky sediments. It also has a medium sized bubbly off-white head on top. Mild but quite a hoppy and fresh nose. On the caramel sweet side with a red malty sweetness and it even has a little bit of cocoa butter and green coffee beans in the back. Quite hoppy this! It can somehow remind me a little bit of the bitterness love found in the original nanny state. Dry minerals and wet grass. It feels light oily in the mouth and it has a average carbonation level. Some faint smoky hints and it's really leaving my mouth dry this. Odd, but not bad. Something I could have with food. 23.12.2013

Flaske 0,5l spandert av og delt med Rune under IT-arbeid hos ham 13 Jan 13. Mørk brun. Høyt tett skum med litt farge. Sterk karamellaroma med antydning til røstet malt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken har litt fjøspreg. Svakt syrlig ettersmak. En god brownale.
