Bomber from Final Gravity. Pours dark copper with a foamy/creamy/frothy beige head. Aromas of treacle and bourbon. Very nice. Near full bodied, or maybe full. Flavor is treacle, brown sugar aspects, heat in the gullet (well not flavor, but), bourbon, and funky oak. Takes awhile for all the flavors to come out and be identified, but it’s worth the wait. Finishes not dry, but the bourbon and alcohol help with that. Good. Very good.

Bomber from Final Gravity. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of mixed fruits and some suggestions of dankness (deep inhale). Med body at least. Flavor is light stone fruit, some citrus, some earth. Might be pine, but I think it’s citrus. It’s very hoppy and hop forward. It oscillates between light stone fruit and herbal/dank. Strong hop is always present. Malt is adequate, thankfully no more than. I don’t get why the ratings aren’t higher.

Bomber from Final Gravity. Pours dark brown with a creamy/foamy tan head. Aroma is hoppy chocolate. Med + body. Flavor is hoppy, followed by chocolate. Coffee note. It seems dry, then not. It’s sort of mocha, then not. I like it, but it’s hard to compare it to other porters. Strong flavors! Good that.

Bomber from Final Gravity. Pours very dark ruddy copper (against strong light) with a beige head. Aroma of darker fruits over toffee/treacle. Med minus body. Flavor is a malty/toffee thing with dark fruits - for some reason it seems a very little bit smoky. The fruit aspects are nice, but (and I can’t believe I’m saying it) it seems to need a stronger malt body. Drinks ok.

Bomber from Final Gravity. Pours orange gold with a slight white head. The aroma is incredibly hoppy, but there’s so much I can’t parse it. Like induced nasal paralysis. It just makes me think of honey - which it clearly isn’t. Maybe there’s some vanilla. Full bodied or nearly. Hop forward. Flavor is spicy, citrus, stone fruit, grass. Or more. There’s a burn which I think is hop rather than alcohol. It’s not completely dry, but the hop really is in control here. It’s not really harsh either. After awhile my tongue is suggesting resin/pine as a part of the mix. I’m impressed.

Bottle thanks to Diego. Pours a hazy copper with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is bourbon, wood, toffee. Medium mouth, light bourbon, vanilla, very sweet, really nice.

[ As Fall River Widowmaker ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, tropical fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140829]
