12 ounce bottle from the brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of strong coffee, roasted malt, chocolate. The taste is coffee, chocolate, dark fruits. Thin-medium bodied.

New England Bucket List Trip #177. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark red with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of hickory smoke, mild roasted malt. The taste is smoke, salt, beef jerky, mild roast and chocolate. Thin bodied.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with a medium dark brown head that slowly dissipates leaving good lacing. Aroma is stale coffee, a bit of chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, roasty, ashtray, coffee grounds, chocolate. Fair amount of acidity. Medium body. Meh

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with small frothy off white head. The aroma is caramel malt and dark fruits . Thin mouth with sweet malt, dark chocolate, roast, very good.

Bottle shared at Beer Market Jaffa. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla and some roast. Bittersweet flavor, roasty, with chocolate, vanilla, some coffee and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.
