This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some messy lacing roaming around the glass.
The smell had some apricot, mango and a dose of grapefruit wrapped up in a caramel malt to blend.
The taste was mainly sweet through the previously mentioned flavors. There’s mainly the sweet fruity aftertasteleading into a semi-sweet and semi-wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed good for the style yet the bitterness doesn’t show up.
Overall, I liked it for what it was but don’t expect the normal bitterness of an AIPA to enthrall you.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light messy lacing sticking to the glass.
The smell started off with rich sweet milk chocolate and a lingering bitter dark chocolate to balance. Light dark fruits mesh in and around the chocolate flavors.
The taste was moderately sweet combining the chocolate with the dark fruits nicely. A light lingering sweet fruity to chocolate aftertaste leads into a sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed pretty subdued yet still good and lead to a semi-smooth almost creamy feel.
Overall, tastes and smells great on a cool Summer’s evening, not a crushable beer but looking at it for what it is and wants to be it works. I’d have again.
