Pours pale golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of pine, some citrus, and miscellaneous fruits. Taste has more citrus, pine, some resin. Palate has a smooth hop profile, some maltiness. Good.

Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: dark amber to brown color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated fairly quick and left some sliding lace
Aroma: caramel/toffee notes, some woody spices and a touch toasted nuts
Flavor: leans to the malty side; finishes caramel malty with a touch of the muddled woody spicy tone
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, some smoothness and light dryness
Overall: well, I've had worse beers in life but I couldn't really figure this one out too well.

Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: black in color with a finger's worth of off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: black coffee, vanilla beans, light roasty notes, subtle earthiness, some milk chocolate
Flavor: roasty, slightly sweet and a little bitter through the prior noted aromas; finishes coffee to vanilla-like
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue but becoming becoming borderline mobile to the tongue
Overall: I know it's a porter but maybe just a wee bit more "beefing" up on the body just a little bit before this becomes watery.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet meat (like ham); then the pumpkin flesh then some light spices of cinnamon and nutmeg
Flavor: leads with the pumpkin flesh sweetness then the nutmeg and cinnamon; finishes the same
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; some smoothness, nothing assertive from any of the spices
Overall: not sure why or where I got the "ham" in the aroma, I wonder if it was the Ubu base beer possibly interfering and that's how it came across with the pumpkin blending. I'd still have again.
