On tap at The Urban Tap. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is faint citrus and wheat. Thin mouth, clove, citrus, watery finish, ok.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sourish with fairly strong cherry and a bit of sugar. The flavor was tart and sour with cherries, a sweet yeasty presence and a light touch of hot peppers. Medium length cherry and pepper finish. The pepper notes grow the more you drink. Moderately full bodied. Odd but it worked for me.

Tap bocktown. One of the better IPA I’ve had lately. Clear pale. Neutral mild aroma. Taste starts off somewhat pleasantly fruity, then after a few seconds it kicks your tongue. Quite bitter in the middle. Yes, overall it comes across fresh and presentable. However, that bitter finish never lets you forget its IPA.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark copper color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was a bit faint but had tangy grapefruit and lemon notes. The flavor was tart orange and grapefruit with a yeast and bread undertone. Mild bitterness. Medium length finish. Medium body. Pleasant.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a murky tan color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy, funky, musty and had a bit of pineapple. The flavor was extremely tart and sour with a yeasty and funky note then sweetish citrus, mango and pineapple. A whole lot going on and enjoyably so. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Excellent.

Rare but a very popular tap round here. This one was at bocktown. Orangy yellow. Almost flat in the presentation. Quite acceptable mild mannered beer from the start. Not real bitter. I liked this. Yes, much better than expected. Probably not a scotch but more like a Scottish. This is no way 10%, perhaps I got the wrong tap? Easy fun higher alky beer I guess, hides the alky well. Drinkable fer sure, I beet beer careful. Nice job! Let me tell you, if this is 10%, its one of the best 10% beers I’ve ever tasted!

Look, not sure WTF is going on with these FP Berliners, but this stuff is really good. I guess this is the spot to place the ratings of the unfruited FPBW? So be it, here I place my rating of the FPBW that has no fruit in it, just a straight away plain old BW, the way BW should be, ferget about that fruit, this is just plain old good old friendly real beer! Yummy, nice, tart, somewhat spiced, easy going, plain old FUN!

Bocktown tap. Big and dark. Aroma of old wet campfire wood. Some co2. Rather mild but there is this slight hint of pepper in thar. Some leather as well. Quite well behaved example of a friendly dark beer. Not sure about the farmy saison thang, would not have thought of this by taste as a saison but never the less its a pretty good beer drinlen session. Nice, FP.

Tap at Luckys, Philadephiaish. A pretty respectable Flemish Red, captures the style well. Medium bodied. Nice cherry tones. Dry, pleasant sour leathery tones. Quite nice.
