Bottle. So I’ve seen this in the standard PA format of cases for a while and wondered if I’d get the chance to buy a single bottle before the full plunge with a whole case... finally got my shot and I must say I’m a little troubled by the name... chinookie? Really? What would my salmon-fishing buddies think? Anyhow, pour is a deep amber with little head and boring aromas of apple juice and a little bit of a herb and spice hops presence. Flavor is more English than American, and I’m cool with that (for now). It’s pretty sweet and the hops presence is fairly light and herbal/grassy. It’s pretty refreshing on the palate and finish is bitter and pleasant enough. I say \"keep brewing\" to you, Full Pint. If this is just a first step, it’s a pretty decent one.

Nice pour, slight haze on a pale lager background. Some gunk on the bottom of the bottle that makes it swirl a little in the glass. Smell is just plain old beery good. Slight veggie aroma like it came from a green bottle, but it didn’t. Also, some banana in there after a while hitting the olfactory. First taste makes me think this is stronger than your typical witbeir. Orange peel in there. Average amount of carbonation. Goes down pretty easy. Rather enjoyable except for that higher alky impression. Leaves a slight bitterness on the back of the throat that is not characteristic of wits. Overall, not bad. I just don’t care for that bitter ending after the swig.

Smell is a little tart but that don’t make think it will be tart. Look is cloudy amber brownish with a nice creamy alabaster head. Taste is initially bitter hop then this tart thing takes off. leather tartness. Obscure creamy CO2. Overall surpisingly better than expected. An open fermented attribute charlie. Yes, more interesting and I’m glad; so many of these ambers are just brownish APA. No gunk on the bottom of this bottle even tho its hazy. Tart unique aves this ale overall. makes it one of the better ambers I’ve had lately.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured an orange-brown color with a medium sized beige head that lingered. The aroma was light toasted caramel, fruity hops and lemon. The flavor was bitter with a fairly strong and crisp floral and fruity hop presence with undertones of perfume and toasted caramel. The beer turn ed a bit dry towards the long, hoppy and nutty finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

So, it was only a matter of time before the cheapie came across this in his hood. A new local company with fanfare. Had this on tap at the Burghs Pizza & Wings in Bridgeville. Big foamy pour that had to be poured off a couple of times. Orange light brown with a slight haze. Alabaster head. Olfactory is your typical slightly dull floral hop aroma. Quite rude initially tho not extremely over the top. What else can be said about this IPA? Its an expected IPA. Oily soapy mouth coating withouit much carbonation, terrible for a lager lover but on style, heheh. If you like IPA better try this gem. Possibly borders on the IIPA style, but don’t all IPA? Looking forward to trying a few of their other beers within a style to my liking.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a very cloudy yellow- amber color with a medium sized white head that produced good lacing. The aroma was fairly strong lemon and orange with undertones that were musty and spicy. The flavor was sweetish, grainy and yeasty with a notes of orange and lemon and a hint of spice. The finish was long, grainy and yeasty. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a dark copper color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that lingered and produced outstanding lacing. The aroma was very tangy, sweet and strongly citric. The flavor was bitter, tangy, chalky and perfumey with light notes of lemon and grapefruit. The finish was long with bitter grapefruit and perfume and turned a bit dry towards the end. Medium body. Nice.
