Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a pale yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly died off. Not much lace, somewhat sliding and stringy.
The aroma had some citrusy sweet hops, white bread, some floral tones, little bit of barnyard, light hay, perfumey sweet cloves, and ended with some dried leaves.
The flavor was sweet all of the way through with a super low key amount of the cloves. Aftertaste was totally sweet and ran into the finish in the same way.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fairly low and the ABV felt fine. Got pretty smooth all around and though I often hate to use this over used word \"watery,\" yes, this would be an example of a beer to say that this is \"watery.\"
Overall, another witbier by an American brewer that keeps it a \"session\" styled witbier with the lack of the \"Belgian spice,\" a robust Belgian yeast and a thicker body.
