12 oz. bottle from Binnyβs single beer racks. A new brewer to our area from way down the pointy end of Indiana. A little "steam" when I pop the cap, and a nice nose of both hop and malt. Dark brown pour in the Scotch ale color range. Smell from the glass is a lightly hopped pale ale, again with some hearty malt behind it. Taste starts off with loud resiny hops, very bitter but somehow pleasant. This may be because my pour has lots of prickly bubbles to really deliver the bitterness. Despite the big malt bill, it still fades back once the hops assert themselves, making themselves known only by the stickiness on my lips. So, yeah. Iβm rather pleased to have picked this to try.

bottle - Pours clear yellow-gold and has a light, grainy malt and honey aroma. It has a mild, sweet taste with bready, grainy malt the main flavor. Hops is minimal. Itβs light bodied and too bland, a mediocre beer at best served up with a dose of off-putting sexism. Is Prostitute Pale Ale next?

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home watching one of the last Bears games of the year after a decent work day. Appearance is a bright ruby red with a thin white head. Aroma is a nice hop profile, light spice and caramel. Taste is pretty good, goes down with a nice bitterness, for malty than hoppy, moderate carbonation, overall enjoyable.
