Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up woody barrel oak notes followed by smooth smelling bourbon and then molasses, residual sugars and muted pine and more woodiness. The taste delivers smooth sweet bourbon flowing into booze and spicy oak woodiness. To midway the slick malt sweetness comes to the surface followed by booze, spicy black licorice and more woodiness. Solid sipper.

Golden with a white head - Hoppy aroma - Malt body to support a hop flavour that is herbal and bitter - The herbal hop goes into the finish with bitterness - This was nice

Sucked this down in the pleasant company of blipp.
Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a crystal clear gold body that supports a lasting near white head of foam that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The aroma offers up spicy dankness, herbal shrub to spruce and then a thin woodiness. The taste delivers a fresh load of hoppiness that's all over the place in a good way. Berry, spruce, woodiness and then strawberry that's sweetened up some by the maltiness. I like the thin sweet malt play up against the fresh punchy bitter hops. Liking this. The strawberry up against the bitter grassy herbal kind of spruce note works. Yep. I can do more of this.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up thin malts, slightly blunting spicy hops and a bit of grapefruit like citrus hops and berry. The taste delivers a firm malt bill that fully supports a hop onslaught. The hops deliver bitter to almost resiny spicy earthy dank hops sweetened some by malts and then leading to a faint berry sensation. To midway a nice thin juicy hop flavor citrus note joins in. Pretty solid IPA

12oz thick strong purple waxed bottle pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up brown sugar nuanced bourbon, wafer thin marshmallow and oak and then a solid helping of booziness. The taste delivers fleeting malty sweetness and a sense of molasses that quickly yield to bourbon and booze. A little better character comes out to midway with a mild vanilla and spicy oak sensation as well as dash of marshmallow drowning in bottomless boozy bourbon. The barrel and beer notes can use more harmony as the barrel treatment nearly kills off all of the beeriness.
Quite good for an IPA. And when at the Rainbow...
