Can at Francis with Fil and Ryan at Francis. Hazy golden-orange body, white head. Spicy aroma, classically saisonish with some cherries. Sweetish spicy taste, odd vegetal notes, light vegetables, not much cherries.

On line Sanitas tasting. Almost black color. Aroma of dark malt, citrus hops, resin. Taste, solid malty base, moderate roasted notes, followed by nice citrus hoppy bitterness with resin. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Best beer from tasting.

Can via Beermalade. Very good Black IPA. High bitterness, but balanced by light chocolatey maltiness. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. The hops character is kinda hidden beneath roast, but they also kinda work together, as is standard in black IPAs. Resinous, grassy, but also kinda citrusy. Very easy drinking, very good.

Can via Beermalade. Aroma shows promising piney resiny hoppiness. However taste kills you straight away with brutal candy and pale caramelly sweetness, immediately followed with merciless rough-edged bitterness. Both disharmonic, rough, hard to drink. There is some hops character, but not too much. Tangerine, zesty, pith. But it battles very much with the malt. This is a beer to work you up towards a fight, not ease down after one. Average-good.

Can via Beermalade. Quite strong sourness here, lacking in character though imo. Seems mostly lacto, maybe in part prickly pear. Thin body, moderate carbonation. The carbonation seems higher on the tongue, though the beer seems completely still optically. Mostly fruity sour flavour. Drinkable, okay for summer drinking, but I am bored of this style of sterile feeling sours.
