Description
Opened in October of 2013, HBC is a production brewing facility complete with a beautiful taproom. We invite you to check out our place here in Hamburg, NY where you can learn about and enjoy our beer. Our mission is to provide high quality and innovative brews while having a good time doing it - it’s that simple. Additionally, we consider ourselves to be a part of the renaissance in brewing around the Western New York area. Look for us around town and remember, with beer so good, it's hard to drink responsibly... but we highly recommend it.

Can at home. Wish it wash Hamburg Germany which I’ve needed for years but take new NY brewery tick. Purplish. Nose is wheat and lemon and berry. Tastes of nice blackberry, fairly tart with lactic acid, lemons, wheat. Thin but tasty.

No date on the bottle that I can find.
Pours a pale gold with plenty of foam that shrinks to a fine layer.
Smells of spicy hops, bread, toast, more hops that are noble like.
Good taste of bread and toast but what impresses me is the hop profile. Noble like, spicy, no citrus or pine. Not needed.
Fairly light bodied but imho, the smell and taste are assertive. I like.
Called Lake View Lager.

No date on the bottle.
Pours a hazy yellow with a good head of foam.
I smell some citrus and loads of a malty sweetness. I would not have guessed this given the appearance.
Some light citrus in the taste but this is malt driven and to be honest, the malt profile doesn't suit me one bit. Stale bread? Earthy old malt? It has me befuddled.
Mouthfeel is okay; kinda scratchy.
A poor example of whatever style they were shooting for.

Solid medium-tart sour, just not really getting any of the flavors really popping out at me though.
