Pours fizzy and cloudy straw with no head at all. Clear aroma of apple and cinnamon. Sweet flavour of apples and, above all, cinnamon, with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Sweet aftertaste. Not bad for a fruit beer.

Bottle. Clear, golden in color and with a small, white head. Mostly hoppy on the nose, resins and green pine cones. It’s soft on the palate, medium bodied and quite dry. Some pale malts, but mostly hoppy in the flavor, with a pleasant bitterness. Short finish. A bit boring and one dimensional, else nice. 130906

Tap @ brewery. Golden appearance with little head. Light wood, rich apple, light pear aroma. Pretty straight forward apple flavor with some light wood (not really oaky- actually I think they used cherry wood or something like that), pear, white wine, fairly dry flavor. Ok. I’ve had better ciders here, but this wasn’t all that shabby.

Tap @ brewery. Dark golden appearance with an off white head. Somewhat toasty malty, cracker, slight roast, grassy, straw aroma. The sunflowers come through in the flavor more with a lightly toasty pale malty backbone and some light fruity notes. Kind of interesting but not that great.
