(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a small, white, creamy head. Lightly hoppy. Quite solid body with some good malt and hops and a typical German bitterness although not excessively so. Decent but not very sophisticated brew. 300905

(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark brown with an underlying orange hue. Small, beige head. Very distinct aroma of roasted malt. Same thing in the flavour that also has some sweetish caramel and notes of bread. Rather unusual malty character, but not unpleasant as such. Very subdued bitterness. 110905

(Bottle 50 cl) Light brown, clear beer with a rather handsome and dense off-white head. Aroma of bread and roasted malt. Flavour of caramel and roasted malt with a rather dry, short bitterness. Actually this is rather unusual - I’d expected something sweeter. 300805

Bottle: Straw golden, thin foamy layer; "metallic" aroma, wet cardboard, some maltiness; thin soapy and "bitter-malty" taste, nearly no finish, sticky texture. Awful......

Bottle: Light amber coloured, off-white lacing head; cardboard, metal and some malts in the aroma; soapy, very shy malty taste, in the almost non existing aftertaste some metallic notes; empty mouthfeel, sticky texture, extremely bland.....The beer of torture!

Golden coloured, thin, quickly diminishing white foam; light malty nose, but mainly wet cardboard aroma; soapy, slightly malty taste; nearly no finish. Pretty unpleasant ! Presumable the victims of the Stasi (East german secret police) were forced during the interrogations to drink this "beer"..........?

Bottle: Very dark amber coloured, thin lasting head; thin malty nose, some roasted malts, but wet cardboard too; sweetish start, drier malty taste towards the end; light bitter-malty finish (roasted malts ???) No doubt, better than the light brews of this beer-factory.........
