Bottle - 2012 Nice lemon grass and citrus aroma. Clear pale orange with an awesome thick head that looks like it will last forever. Lots of grass and lemon, much like I expected from this style. A mild bitterness that fades nicely. This is very comparable to Deschutes Chasing Freshies but much better in my opinion. Great mouth feel as well. 2013 Leafy vegatal hops with some light lemon. Clear gold with a thin bubbly white head. Leafy hops, light but great. A very light sessionable IPA, probably the best fresh hop this year.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Clear pale orange color with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus and tea. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, mild hops and tea. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrus aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma its not strong, but has the west coast pine and grapefruit going. Taste its also pine and grapefruit, no real malt presence, with a medium bitter finish. Not complex, but quite decent

kinda of an odd hoppy brown ale but it was a lager. Didn’t really jive on it, but not horrible.

12oz bottle pours clear gold with near white head. The aroma offers up lagery notes, grainy malts and sugary sweet maltiness. The taste has plenty of firm grainy malts and sweet malts and then it rolls into sugary sweet lagery yeastiness as well as faint spicy hops. They claim on the label all the extra hopping they put into this yet I’m not really smelling or tasting much of any hoppiness. What?

Bottle: Dusty gold pour with a thin creamy white head. Bubbly. Aroma is wheat, floral, and light huckleberry. Flavor is mild lager malt, huckleberry, and finished with wheat. Crisp. Really a pretty clean taste. More wheat than fruit.
