On tap at MBGSF 2019. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma has pilsener/pale malt and white grape. Flavors of slightly sour white wine, green grape, honey, and touches of pilsener malt. There's definitely a bit more wine flavor than beer flavor in this one. It's alright on the whole, though.

2014 vintage bottle from the brewery. Black pour with a tan head. Coffee aroma. Flavor has a strong ashiness, roasty, oak, and coffee. Fairly harsh. May have aged poorly, but I haven't tried it fresh to compare.

On tap at the brewery. Apparently my 1700th rating. Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma is toasty toffee caramel. Toffee and caramel flavors, toasty malts, sweet. Citrus and spicy hops in there. Also has a nice touch like oxidation. Quite good.

On tap at the brewery. A golden pour, clear with a white head. Yeasty aroma. Flavor is smooth, yeasty biscuit, with a light fruitiness. Pretty nice and straightforward.

On tap at MBGSF 2016. Pours a red brown, hazy, with an off-white head. Oak and caramel malt in the aroma. Flavor is quite oaky and caramel malty, toasty, molasses, and red fruits, all blending together quite well. Well done.

On tap at MBGSF 2015. Pours golden amber with a white head. Bubble gum and white grape aroma. Flavor has the bubble gum and white grape, with the white wine flavor (Shiraz is red, but white’s what I’m tasting) bold but blending in very smoothly. Another very nice blend from this brewery.

At MBGSF 2013. I believe they had both bottles and taps but don’t know which this beer came from. This pours a deep brown with little head. Aroma is a combination of red wine and cocoa stout, pretty much what one would expect. Flavor again mixes red wine and raisin with chocolate stout. This just works really well. Great idea!
