Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom C. Hazy deep golden. Nice hoppy aroma, citric and a bit “green”. Flavor of citric hops, slightly “green”, rather dry, with a nice bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Can thanks to Josh! Pours a clear deep amber with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy pine and grass with a backing light sweet grain note. Flavor is similar with light earthy pine and grass that are backed by a bit of bread and grain.

12oz can pours with a crystal clear light gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up creamed corn, a bit of floral hops, mild sweet sugary malts and a legery yeasty fruity ester sort of note. The taste is similar with a pleasing mix of floral hops, mild sweetness (and being mild and not overbearing really does it for me here), corn, corn flakes and malt graininess. It gets faintly resiny with hops midway and into the finish. If a lager is your thing then this is it. I like it.

How did I miss this? This was from my AZ trip back in April, here goes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking ruddy brown to amber color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipates to a semi-thick close to thin lacing coating the sides of the glass.
The smell had a nice dry caramel maltiness with a fairly decent allocation of bitter piney hops but were pretty subdued for the most part.
The taste was mainly sweet caramel malts and they danced nicely along my taste buds.
The palate was about a medium in body with a semi-sessionable quality to it.
Overall, good red ale worthy of having again.

[ As Lumberyard Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, dusty malt. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140118]

Old found notes. Clear copper with a thin white head. Malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor that follows the aroma. Simple, but well crafted beer.

Reviewed from notes. From my AZ trip.
The appearance had a somewhat clear amber/red color. One finger white foamy head that dies to a film coating the top of the body and kinda creates a small hill in the middle for a head.
The smell had a strong caramel malts up front.
The taste was mainly sweet however after a while a nice warming malty sweetness eventually leads to a dry malty aftertaste with a dry finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a medium on the body. Carbonation is fairly smooth and creates a fairly smooth sessionability about this one.
Overall, this was a decent American Amber/Red Ale that I might have again, it does have a sort of a fuller aspect to it so it might not go as well with food, but hey, I think I could have this again.

Location: Draft at Bonkers!, 3/4/14

Aroma: The aroma is clean bready malts, some caramel, and some light hops as well
Appearance: It pours an amber color with a medium head and some average lacework
Flavor: The taste is clean malts, some light sweetness, and a light bitterness as well
Palate: The body leans light, but not watery, with an easy drinking mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: I already covered my enjoyment for Bonkers! in my review of Lumberyards APA, but it is still a great name. My opinion hasn't changed in the 5 mins since I entered that rating. This beer, however, is only okay. I was just excited that Bonkers! has 2, count them 2, craft beers!

Location: Draft at a restaurant called Bonkers!, 3/4/14

Aroma: It has a nice pine hop nose, with some grapefruit and grassy notes as well
Appearance: Pours a clear gold-orange color with a great, creamy white head and lots of lace
Flavor: This one has a good hop flavor, just a little sweetness, with a nice bitter finish
Palate: The body is creamy, with a smooth, clean mouthfeel, and a crisp, dry finish
Overall Impression: First off, Bonkers is a great name for a restaurant. Beyond that, I actually thought this was a quite tasty beer. This is a very nice, drinkable, hoppy pale ale. Really solid stuff.
