Shaker pint draft at the brewpub in Dripping Springs, Texas. Bartender mentioned this was a Pale Ale lager - listing as American Pale Ale because that was the taste profile I got. The pour is a clear orange golden with a small white head. The aroma is faint bitterness along with caramel malt. The taste is floral bitterness up front, followed quickly by light caramel sweetness of the malt. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a decently clean bitter floral finish.

A dark reddish brown beer, clear, and topped by a dense, off-white to light beige head. The aroma has toffee, nuts, roasted malts and a hint of fruityness. It’s quite weak all the way, in a nice way that makes it really quaffable, but I’d like more pronounced flavors. Raisins, toffee and some nuts are present, so is a little bitterness, but it’s all a bit weak. Roasted, toffee-ish finish with some raisins and nuts. Feeling a bit sweet this one, else it’s nice. 140118

Cask at the brewpub. Pours a near clear amber orange with an eggshell white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a nice flora and citrus hop with a light grain backbone. Flavor has the same light flora and citrus with some grapefruit and a light grain backbone.
