22 oz waxed bottle. Aroma is chocolate, wet stone, molasses, toffee, vanilla, whiskey, dark overripe fruit. Pours very dark brown to black with a half finger beige head that reduces to a ring somewhat quickly. Taste is bittersweet with a subtle pepper heat, finishing very dry. Flavors of chocolate and a light habanero character that reveals itself more with repeated sips.

22 oz waxed bottle from the brewery. Aroma is vanilla, coconut, woody, caramel. Pours dark brown with a half finger beige head with decent retention. Taste is vanilla and whiskey barrel forward, lightly sweet with some light umami, finishing lightly dry. Mouthfeel is a little thin and lightly carbonated. With a fuller, velvety mouthfeel, this would be world class. Still, very tasty.

16 oz can from the brewery. Aroma is tomato, black pepper, Worcestershire. Pours nearly clear golden with a half finger off-white head that settles into a ring and skiff of foam after a minute. Taste is moderately building to highly spicy with flavors like the aroma. A little weirder than I expected, but not bad, and I love micheladas.

Canned on September 4th 2025,bought locally.
Pours a clear light amber with over a finger of foam, very good retention and lacing.
Smell is big note of bread, bit of caramel, light fruity notes, low level of bitterness.
The taste is bread, caramel malt, toasted malt, some caramel that doesn't translate to sweetness. Bitterness level is very low. This is more of a Marzen style of Oktoberfest than a Festbier.
Good mouthfeel and carbonation is spot on.
I would drink this again.
