Draught @ Bailey’s Taproom, Portland, OR. Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grass, citrus, hay, pine, resin, herbal hops and hay. Taste is sweet, herbal and lemony with some hops, grass and grapefruit. Finish is lemony and sweetish with some herbal and grassy hops. A bit strange hop profile here.

Have had from bottle and on tap. Pours out a copper amber topped with a sand head. Nose is sweet caramel malt some bread along with a nice hop addition. Taste is more of the caramel malt sweetness and a nice crisp hop balance.

On tap at Sassy’s. Pours a clear copper with medium frothy white head thst lasts. The aroma is floral and citrus. Medium mouth, earthy hop, light citrus, resin finish, good.

22oz bottle pours out dark brown to black topped with a small tan head. nose is coffee molasses dark chocolate nice big roast malts and a little vanilla. taste is more of the heavy roast malts some coffee chocolate molasses with a little hoppy bitterness on the end.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of espresso beans and roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of espresso beans upfront, with a little roast and a touch of cocoa. Medium bodied and pretty monolithic. Very nice.

Hazy golden color, with creamy head. Mild aroma of citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is lean and the sweetness quite low, yet the malts are quite chewy, and despite the lighter color it shows a bit too much caramel; well, if this is still the original recipe, it would have been innovative back then, but today you can find crispier IPAs; strong bitterness, with hop resins and some chicory.
Good IPA.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a mostly clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out considerable citrus notes along with some moderate berry-like fruitiness. Flavour brings out citrus and piney hops upfront, followed by buttery bready malt. Lots of punch to this one. Nothing spectacular but it's well-made.

Growler filled at Hop and Hound. Inning number 1. Golden oily pour with a patchy fizz head. Sweet fruity aroma and flavor. Tropical fruit. Pineapple maybe. Very tasty IPA. Creamy, and nearly no bitterness. Very easy drinking. Enjoyed this.

Fresh hopped version at The Drake Eatery (Oct 2015). Aroma is very hoppy with piney and citrus. Taste is very fresh, hoppy bitterness. Excellent.
