Clear golden with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing. Aromo of fruit and pine. Flavors are fruity, caramel, butter and pine. A decent IPA, unfortunately some diacetyl took away from the great aroma.

Whoa, this is some potent and astringent stuff - alternative to pin sol, indeed - I had another IIPA here that was not like this at all - what happened here? - astringent, sweet, and boozy throughout - the finish in particular is full of fusel alcohol burn and flavor - like fucking turpentine in the finish - ugh.

Typical American style barley wine - strong, heavy sweetness balanced by a fair amount of woody and bitter hop character - that’s about it - water texture and body for the abv - lacks the complexity and heft you want from the style - like a strong, malty IPA - meh.

Bourbon barrel porter - done to death, but sure - pours a dark ruby - thick off-white lace - aroma of bourbon, caramelized sugars, oak, light tartness, mild diacetyl - body is a bit thin - flavor is bourbon, oak, butter/diacetyl, burnt sugars, moderate tartness - messy, thin, difficult to enjoy.

Clear dark ruby - thick, soapy lace - nose of rich woodsmoke and caramel, but there are some vegetal notes poking through - low carbonation, creamy mouthfeel - quite sweet, probably since it is so high in abv - smoke and wood character are pleasant, but the high sweetness makes things less enjoyable - lots of toffee, toasted marshmallow, caramel - light vegetal notes - the smoke character is awesome, but the other qualities need work - make this a 5% brew and you likely have a winner.

Low gravity saison - fuck yea - very dry, crisp, flinty - just the right amount of dry, peppery and earthy phenols to compliment the crisp, dry character of the beer - some tangy wheat and light citrus - bitter, crisp, peppery finish - some melon rind throughout - this is quite a nice beer.

Tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a black, deep brown appearance with a brown head. Very roasty, burnt malty, a touch smoky, coffee aroma. Slightly thin, a but fruity, coffee, slightly acidic, cracker malty, chocolate flavor. Drinkable but kind of an oddity.

Tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a pretty clear orange appearance with an off white head. Juicy fruity, light dms, citrusy, somewhat tangy, herbal aroma. Slight cooked veggie, apricot/orange fruity, herbal, a bit toasted malty flavor. Probably my least favorite offering by these guys so far.
