Comes across astringent and harshly bitter. These guys can’t do amber beers. Black bottle Fort Collins

Really lively bright crisp beer with a good firm tartness, good mouthfeel and a cool nicely working blend of flavours. Black bottle fort collins

Not a clean ferment, harsh bitterness that comes across astringent. Dry. Black Bottle fort collins

Bottle - labeled 9.2 abv - moderately hazy gold - fairly impressive for an American rendition - not overly sweet, and without the clove and other crap you sometimes get in messier versions of the style - medium dry mineral through the middle - moderate spicy phenolics and lightly floral hops before a peppery finish - slight honey sweetness returns at the end.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours black, with a big, foamy, tan head. The nose is milk chocolate, dust, walnuts, and toffee. Very sweet and syrupy. Medium body, with a smooth, powdery palate. This is a tasty and fun beer, but a bit cloying.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours a clear, brass color, with a small, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is raw coconut, herbal notes and dry grass, and cream. Sweet and sugary, with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sharp, acidic palate. This is a nice and mellow, sharp IPA.
