(Bottled at SMÖF-08)October 24, 2008Clear copper color, dense tan head. Fruity and sweet scent, like a soda-pop. Dry, hoppy, herbal taste. Medium mouthfel, low bitterness.

Bottled at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Clear golden, minimal head. Buttery aroma. Medium sweet with clean, spritzy mouthfeel, Light bodied with fairly low hop rate and bitterness. Unspectacular but clean and quite drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Mora Guld-Pilsner 5% on 22 Feb 2025 at 23:50 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5.5 | Texture - 5 | Overall - 5.5. Original review text: Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Almost clear golden, mid sized head. Fruity, grassy nose. Sweetish with light to medium body and clean moutfeel. Honeydew and grass. Piney bitter finish.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, slightly grassy nose with notes of tropical fruit. Fruity taste with tropical fruit, apricots and nicely balanced hints of grassy hops in the finish. Very fresh but on the thin side both in body and taste. Like the other Mora beers it is a lot better than some years ago. You’re on the right way.

(Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival, 26 Sep 2008) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with apricots, orange peel and earthy hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of orange peel, apricots, caramel and slightly bready malt. Balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Nice one. I tried the beers from Mora a couple of years ago and was not impressed, but it seems something has happened. The quality and consistency seems to be improving. Worth a rerate.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A nut-brown beer with a cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of nuts, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts, straw, and caramel.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2008) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark bread, ryvita and dusty hops. Malty taste with dark rye bread, dark fruit, prunes and hints of spicy hops in the finish. Nice and tasty.

Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with spicy and hoppy notes. Sweet flavour with floral hops, spices and caramel notes.

Clear reddish brown with medium beige head. Sweet and spicy aroma with roasted malt and caramel notes. Spicy flavour with medicine and caramel notes. Spicy finish.

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, rubber, raisins and some mild glueish notes. Also mild nuttyness as it warms up a bit. Flavour is very much the same, being a very earthy and non-sweet brew. Aftertaste has some yeastyness and grassyness in it.

Bottle, 5.0%. The aroma has a strange breadiness. Almost clear amber colour with a stable head. The flavour is quite malty and a bit sour. The sourness seems to be connected to the bitterness.
