On tap @ the Mellow Mushroom in Tampa. Pours clear golden in color with thin white head. The aroma at first seemed like bubble gum. Then some of the pumpkin and spice started to show through. The flavor was similar to the aroma. I taste sweet bubble gum, some pumpkin, cabbage and some other spices (maybe cinnamon and or nutmeg). I really don’t taste anything resembling hops. Interesting taste but not very pumpkin like. A bit of a disappointment.

Bottled. Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma of candy sugar chocolate and coffee. Flavour is quite the same but very sourish. Watery palate. Third or fourth Shipyard for me, so far they have not impressed me at all...

Bottled. Orange colour, small head. Flowery and grassy hops in both aroma and flavour. Very watery and boring, it lacks all fruitish hops and most other things US IPA’s usually have. Waste of money.

bottle - Pours amber and clear with a thin, fading head. The aroma is very good and includes yeast and apple notes. Malts with apple dominate the flavor. It has a medium body and is too fizzy on the palate. The finish is crisp and pleasant. This is a good beer.

Pour is a golden with a small white head. Aroma is very much cinnamon and nutmeg. So far so good. Flavor is cinnamon and nutmeg with some spice. No real pumpkin to speak of but still is a a very tasty ale. Overall not going to be what your looking or is a pumpkin beer but this is more of a spiced ale.
