Smells malty, tastes a little oaky, a little bit of whisky around. Id like to say it tastes like a dirty scotsmans kilt but unforunately it isn’t that character heavy, pours reddish orange. Really good head and lacing.

Smells like blackberry, some malt - pretty rich aroma. Pours dark brown/black with some head and pretty good lacing. Palate is medium to high. Taste has bitterness which tastes like a mix between roasty malt and blackberry. A bit of sourness as well. Bottle from LCBO.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown/red with one finger of head. Aromas of blackberry jam and roasted malts. Similar taste though more than a bit acidic. But overall quite nice.

Muddy blond color. Delicate apricot aroma. Dry mouthfeel, some wheat flavor, and some light fruity touch. The final is a bit too bitter for this kind if beer. Drinkable.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ [ Tasting by fiulijn ].Light unclear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, late late finish feel is light metalic. [20110916]

Bomber from the LCBO and second brew from Cannery for me. Pours a real dark brown colour with hardly any highlights. Decent creamy beige head that is also foamy, staying a little while and creating some lacing. Beautiful smooth and rich maple nose with some roasted malts and hints of nuts and vanilla. The mouthfeel is way thinner than expected. The taste is pretty good though, with the roasted malts at first going to a little bitterness from the hop and ending easy with the maple syrup swinging into the aftertaste and a touch of cocoa lingering a bit. An easy-drinking stout (as it is really thin) that is nicely balanced with the maple notes.

A brown ale with a thin big bubbled light mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, treacle, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, light powdery notes, a bit oxidized, pleasant. Bottle, sept 2011.
