On tap at Brovaria, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out medium roast, with a fair degree of hops. Flavour is more like a black IPA, with a huge amount of earthy, piney hops, and a less pronounced roasted malt base. Whatever it is, it's quite nicely constructed, and the best of the Brovaria beers I sampled.

On tap at Brovaria, pours a clear straw blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out floral and piney hops, with a soft biscuity malt base. Flavour is punchy, with floral and piney hops upfront, backed by a dry biscuity malt backbone. Soft yet assertive on the palate. Solid.

On tap at Brovaria, pours a cloud yellow with a small white head. Nose is very light, with a touch of coriander and citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with plenty of spicy coriander upfront, with a soft pillowy wheaty backbone. Light and airy. Uninteresting.

On tap at Brovaria, pours an opaque cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out clove, with a touch of banana and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with clove, light banana and esters. Clove-dominant and spicy. Not much depth even for the style. Okay.

On tap at Brovaria, pours a cloudy dark amber mahogany with a small beige head. Nose brings out fermented out honey upfront, with bready malt and a hint of toasted nuts. Flavour is not too pleasant, with fermented out honey, toasted malt and caramel. The honey isn't nicely expressed and the whole just feels jumbled. No good.

On tap at Brovaria, pours a cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy hops, straw and some biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with herbal notes, barely noticeable hops, and bready malt. Needs some more oomph, but it's clean enough. Meh.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, citrus and fruit, with some estery notes. Bitter flavour of hops and citrus, with sweetish notes of malt and fruit and touches of yeast. Bitter and estery aftertaste. Decent.
