Old rating. 12oz bottle from old town. Caramel and toffee on the nose. Taste is more of the same but not very well done. Slightly watery. Metallic notes from the bottle. Not very good.

Bottle. Honey, berry, and caramel malt aroma. Amber with large off-white head. Sweet honey, caramel malt, and moderately bitter herbal alcohol flavor. Okay but on the rough side.

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear dark cola with a tan head. Aroma of caramel and oak. Tastes skunked. Oof.

Bottle during RBWG. Pours a ruby with small off white head. The aroma is fruit and honey. Thin mouth with nice honey flavor, light berry, very nice.

Bottle from JSA. Cloudy caramel with a thin head. Aroma is sour malt. Flavour is dry malt, nutty and fruity, plum in a long dry finish.

Bottle: Clear copper-brown with a creamy beige head. Apple, honey, caramel aroma. Sweet, caramel apple taste...honey, caramel malt. Sweet, tasty drinks very lightly... Very nice....so easy drinking this one could be dangerous......ridiculously smooth for the ABV.

Wood aroma with light caramel notes, very subtle. Clear copper, thick yellow head. Bourbon flavor, but not boozy. Some vanilla. Light body, easy carbonation. I like the fact it isn’t too heavy on the bourbon, but it is too light on everything else.

Keg at Beer Run, 11/18/14. Somehow I never rated this despite it being in regular rotation for years at my most frequented bar. Pours a clear dark red with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, mild roasted malt. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, cherries, vanilla, whiskey. Medium bodied, low carbonation, slightly too sweet.

Keg at Beer Run, 11/18/14. Pours a hazy amber with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of wine, sawdust, mild whiskey and vegetal notes. The taste is whiskey, vegetal notes, wine, caramel. Medium bodied. Weird one.
