Description
We’re the oldest brewery on the Isle of Wight and one of the first independent craft beer producers in the UK. Goddards has been brewing fine real ales in the beautiful surroundings of Barnsley Farm since 1993.

In 2025 Goddard's became a Powder Monkey Group Company.

Bottle from ASDA, Newport, IOW. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, toasted malt, hops and fruits. Sweet caramel and light bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Clear golden with a thin bubbly white head. Aroma is light cereal malt, flavour is bitter without much malt to balance things out

330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Herbal aroma with hints of eucalyptus, mint and grass. Fresh taste with minty notes, eucalyptus, bread and spice. Refreshing and rather interesting. The eucalyptus works surprisingly well.

330ml Bottle - Light amber in colour. Sultanas, grain, caramel and hints of rye in the aroma. Caramel, dried apricot, sultanas and bread can all be detected in the taste. The finish has a hint of sweetness.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Dried apricot, honey and some floral notes in the aroma. Fruity taste with sultanas, yellow plums, honey, grass and bread. Traditional with a slight twist.

Draft at Moon In The Square, Bournemouth. Clear amber brown with an off white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee and fruity notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

500ml bottle from Waitrose in Southampton. Pours clear mid amber brown with an off white head. Aroma: twiggy malts, nutty, caramel. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, caramel, toffee, nutty, earthy hop. Medium body, average carb, dry-ish light bitter finish. Rather dull
