An amber IPA with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, light British hops, over biscuitty malt, so-so. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with sweet resinous floral hops, a bit light but nice. On tap at Twin City Brewfest, August 13 2011.

Bomber from Gail’s Hops & Grapes in Hickory, NC, opened 4/13/11. Pours a clear very dark brown color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of rich chocolate notes, roasted malts, faint nutty notes. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, bitter citrus and floral hops, nutty finish. Medium bodied. Straightforward porter, but very well made. I can imagine myself sitting at some bar in Asheville putting back pint after pint of this stuff.

@Victors Fantasy Tasting-22oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-some sweetness/peat, slight fruit/spice hops. Taste is medium malt-some sweetness/peat, slight fruit/spice hops.

Bottle thanks to Victor at Paul’s tasting. Pours dark brown. Off white head. Nose/taste of bread, caramel and lots of malt. Medium to lightish body. Decent and simple.

Keg at the World Beer Festival Columbia Brewers Party on 01/21/2011. Dark brown body with ruby highights. Sweet roast, chocolate and light vanilla aroma. Sweer chocolate, light roast, and faint vanilla flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Draft @ Hickory Hops 2011, Hickory, NC. Pours a clear pale golden color with a white head. Has a fruity grainy malty aroma with weak citrus hints. Fruity malty grainy crisp flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish with hints of citrus.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel hoppy flavor with hints of grapefruit. Has a fruity malty hoppy carramelfinish.

Draft @ Taco Mac Sandy Spring, GA. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocoalte aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.
